Shih Poo Puppies

02*08*12  Bertha had started to push at alittle after 5pm and delivered this adorable little girl at 6pm. She weighed in at 6 1/8th ounces and is tri colored. Very cute,dark body with white chest and brown cheeks. I think she has white on her front legs/paws. I haven't checked her out too much as Bertha wants her by her side. stay tune for more announcements!

Puppy #2 arrived just before 7pm...it's a GIRL! She weighed in at 6 1/4ounces and is looking blk/wht right now. BUT, I think she might have some lighter colors running through the black. At first I thought she was brn/wht but is looking more black right now. Both Girls are looking real good n healthy. Bertha was eating like Babe,our pot belly pig, so no wonder they are heavier than normal. She's having no problem delivering them so thats the main concern. I can feel one more big pup on her side...guess she/he is in no hurry to enter the world. Now they have some elbow room...ha.

Puppy #3 has arrived...around 9pm. It's a BOY! He is mainly white with black...again, looks like black now. He's almost 7 ounces and again,seems healthy.

The last pup has arrived at 1020 pm...it's a beautiful solid gold female. Weighs 6 1/2 ounces and very hungry~ was nursing within seconds of being born.

02-15-12 The first week is no behind us...Yeah! It was a very good week too. Bertha is a good Mom and is keeping her pups very content.

02-22-12 Bertha's pups are two weeks old today. They have been very good pups. They are filling out and eyes are starting to open up abit...still just little slits. By tomorrow night they will probably be wide open and will be so beautiful. My Husband took the photo's for me as I am just so exhausted after a busy day on the road with pups and Ty going to the Vets. Ty had to spend the day for dental work so we had to make two trips...needless to say, wore me out. I think my Husband did pretty good job taking the photos.....

02-29-12  What adorable pups!! THese pups are so cute I want to eat them up...lol. VEry good pups also...never a peep from them,just very content sleepy babies. Next week we will see if they start moving around more and start to use their legs...they don't seem to be in any hurry.

03*07*12 Here we are at the 4 wk mark!! THese pups are such a riot too...starting to wander just a bit,go potty on their paper and finally liking their new bed! THey are precious!!

03-22-12  A day late but here they are! HOpe it was worth waiting for...they are getting harder to photograph as they charge the camera...Also, the new thing now is first shots at 7wks,so, next wed. we will be heading to the Vets for their health chk and first distemper.

03-28-12  The pups went to their Vet health chk and shot appt this morning. They all did great. Weighing 2lbs6oz to 2lbs 12oz. I probably won't be getting pics online today as I fell down the basement stairs and am recouping flat on my back. Hurt my ankle/knee. I think it's a bad sprain and when I can walk....I will get some pics asap. Maybe tonight? Sorry....I will say this...they are so darn cute!!
